From the date any loan is transferred to a new servicer, either new investor or a new payment address with our sub-servicer, there is a 60 day transfer period where the customer cannot be charged any late fees and no late payments can be reported to the credit bureaus. This 60 day period allows for payments that were sent to the previous servicer, Hamilton Home Mortgage, to be forwarded to the new investor/servicer in a timely manner.
